Mona has over fifteen years styling  experience for clients to meet their fashion needs.   Working as Stylist for a modeling agency catering to a national clientele and representing models both stateside and abroad, Mona worked with each model individually in styling their portfolio shoots, creating looks which expressed their range in age and niche.  She was Stylist and Creative for fashion shoots and editorial for NFocus Magazine, scouting locations, casting models, and pulling wardrobe for on-location shoots in collaboration with photographers.  Mona designed the costumes for each of her multi-media dance concerts, working in conjunction with tailors/seamstresses to create the looks.  As an on-set Stylist for commercial photographers, Mona worked with the talent to pull wardrobe which would photograph professionally, as well as enhance the message being conveyed. Mona has attended Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC, photographing the runway shows of designers such as XXX and backstage at XXX.   Personal Style clients have benefitted from Mona's attention to detail, flair for calculated risk-taking, and friendly yet diplomatic dialogue when dressing them or rehabbing their wardrobe.

WHAT TO EXPECT

For a Personal Style session, Mona offers a complimentary consult with clients via phone or Zoom to discuss their needs.  Whether it's fashion selection for a special event or travel, or whether it's a Wardrobe Rehab, Mona will design a package suited to a client's specific needs. Typically a Wardrobe Rehab consists of 1-3 sessions of 2-3 hours each in which the contents of a client's wardrobe are pulled, tried on, sorted and organized. All the while, Mona is coaching her client on the many aspects of cultivating a wardrobe that reflects both the lifestyle and individuality of her client. During a Shopping Spree, Mona will accompany her client to 2-3 shops, select several items to try on, and take a snapshot of each outfit.  Favorite items will be held at the store. Over a coffee or glass of wine, Mona will address each outfit with the client, using the snapshot as a visual reminder, to guide the client into why the outfit works or doesn't flatter.  The client is left to purchase those items that truly make them happy. Personal Shopping is an option for those clients who prefer their fashion to be purchased and brought to their home for a fitting.
